1968 Deliveries


1968 saw the first non AEC buses enter the fleet, these also being the first rear engined double deckers which were Leyland Atlantean with local Eastern Coach Works bodywork.

76,  LDX76G,  Leyland Atlantean  PDR1/1  802810  /  Eastern Coach Works  H43/31F  17201

These buses were all withdrawn in 1980 and sold to Eastbourne Corporation, 75 & 76 were later converted to Open top. 73, 75 & 76 are all believed to be preserved.
